Meanwhile… is a new web series of movie spoofs, where we show you classic scenes and then shed some light on what was happening elsewhere in that movie’s universe.

Our first entry comes from the 1994 bus thriller Speed. In the film, Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock has to keep driving a L.A. city bus around town to keep it above 55mph, or it will explode (courtesy of Dennis Hopper). The film is blamed credited for making Sandra Bullock a movie star.

But the real question everyone wants to know, is what was happening during all of this chaos on the streets of Los Angeles?
